What a difference this makes in home studio work. I can't overstate how happy I am with the sounds I can create and blend. Great digital effects and everything is so easy to use. I suddenly sound like I know what I'm doing.

The MG124CX is a compact mixer with 12 input channels: six mono and four stereo line inputs. Mono inputs have switchable 48V phantom power. Stereo inputs can accept either RCA or ¼" connectors. The first 4 mono input channels offer single-knob compression, a Yamaha exclusive. This feature, designed for easy use, allows inputs with very wide dynamics to be better heard. For example, with the right amount of compression, a vocal that must be whispered in quiet parts and screamed out in louder parts will be better balanced in the mix. A built-in high quality digital effect offers 16 different reverb and delay presets. Two aux sends are available. One is routed to the internal effect post fader, the other is switchable pre or post fader. A foot switch input allows easy muting of the effect.Dual 12-segment LED meters allow visual monitoring of the main stereo outputs. Small footprint allows easy placement.

Yamaha EMX5014C 14 Input Stereo Powered Mixer 500 Watt Per Channel Review

This is my first mixer I have ever owned. At first I wasn't all that sure about what I had bought, but it seemed to work out OK. I have now had it for almost a year and I know it was the right choice. I had managed to find a way to make this thing do anything. I got a condenser mic for a really good price and without realizing it I forgot to check to see if there is phantom power on my board. I was happily surprised to find a nice little button with a label and everything. Works perfect for audio in like a DVD player or anything like that. My friends and I were playing Xbox through a pair of 400w speakers... awesome. This mixer is very lightweight and easy to use. If you have any knowledge of mixers at all then you can use this board. It's very strait forward and has some nice features on it as well. I think it even has a separate power source for a pair of monitors which is really nice. All in all this mixer is probably the best for the money. The only reason I could see myself replacing it for something else is if I needed more power, but even this thing really packs a lot in there, producing a max of 1000w of power.

Yamaha MG32/14FX 14 Bus Audio Mixer Review

This mixer is everything that it says it is. I bought mine about 3 weeks ago, and it works great, it's already done a few gigs, 2 large events, and a rehearsal.
The knobs feel great, very professional.
The board is pretty weighty, can be carried by one person although its recommended to have two persons transport it. It runs cool and has alot of headroom. I used it alongside the MG166CX, and with a QSC Power Amp.
With the MG166CX, the amp was at about 26, with the MG32, had to tone it down to 14, as low as 12 in some instances through the same speaker setup (6 speakers, 2 bass and 4 loudspeakers) and it handled very well.
When time has past, I will hopefully give a more detailed and structured review, but for now, great product. The box it ships with is pretty big, so you may wanna hurry up and get the case for it.
