The guitar smokes, and is Michaels original black/white look he had with the Gibson he and his brother had.
Becouse of the hassle of not getting a case, and no one to bitch at, I sent this one back too.
After thinking it over, I ordered the custom flame model from a different place.
At the price these Schenker V's are going for, nows the time to pick one up.
BTW,
The USA lights out pickups are the best I have heard.
Better than my Jackson dinky.

ESP LTD MH250 Electric Guitar with Tremolo (See Thru Black) Review

(More customer reviews)This is actually Vladimir's 15-year-old son (the guitarist/metalhead of the household, haha). We ordered this guitar two days ago, and it just came yesterday. (I'm VERY pleased with the speed of its arrival, but I'm in CT and American Musical Supply is in New Jersey, so this probably won't be the case for everyone.) It's pretty safe for me to say that this guitar is one of the best guitars I've ever played. (I've only been playing for two years, but I've tried out plenty of guitars.) The playability is great, the sound is awesome (and the pickups give good variety while still sounding great), it feels very sturdy and heavy, and the floyd rose is a LOT of fun to play with. It came in perfect condition, too.
The only thing is, the picture here looks slightly reddish, though the actual guitar is very black. Look on the ESP website for a better picture, but keep in mind the visibility of the (awesome) pattern depends a lot on the light. But that isn't even any sort of drawback, I'm just saying that this picture isn't quite what the guitar really looks like.
Overall, I am VERY satisfied with this guitar. This is only a first impression, and my opinion may change in the long run, but from what I've seen so far this guitar blows my other ones out of the water. If you're looking for a high quality guitar (with a fun floyd rose tremolo to boot) for a relatively low price, I'd definitely recommend this.
(My bandmates are REALLY jealous.)

Dean Razorback V Guitar 25.5 Scale Explosion with Case Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this item from Musician's Friends through Amazon. The item arrived as expected. When I opened the box I noticed that the product was not the same. First thing is that I did not receive the explosion color, instead I received the two tone green color. I did not like it very much but it is not too bad.
And second I did not receive the item as Amazon describes it. Amazon says that it has a pair of EMG 81/85 pickups, but the guitar came with differents pickups which are not even like the EMG. Very bad pickups. I guess I will have to buy EMG pickups separately. Very very bad for Musician's Friends....what a pitty :(

(More customer reviews)This guitar is playable out of the box, it's got a heavy/chunky kind of sound, the pick ups are nice, not the greatest but they're good. I loved it as soon as I started playing it. It's one of those guitars that attracts you to play well on it when you pick it up. It's bigger than you'd think, and the silver is beautiful, it's not too heavy, not too light, kind of perfect balance. The fretboard is fast and you'll have no problem going up and down this thing like I95. Did I Mention that it's really attention grabbing? My only qualm with it is that It had a lot of fret buzz when I started playing it but I guess I'll have to break it in.....BUY IT!

Most of my other guitars a Zakk Wylde Les Paul with 81/85 and a Eric Clapton Signature Fender Strat (Blacky) have active pickups but this one holds its own. It is a screaming monster, a true tribute to one of if not the best Metal guitar God of all times. The V shaped neck is fast and the guitar is light in weight but Heavy in sound. I strongly recommend it!

(More customer reviews)I usually play BC Rich or Jackson, but after seeing this guitar in a pawn shop for a reasonable price, I could not resist it. Let me say this here and now, the action on this guitar is pure perfection. From the 1st fret to the 25th you can do it all. Those really hard solos that go down to the 23rd and 24th frets are so much easier now that I have been playing this.
The strings are strung through the back of the body and run over a solid bridge. This is the first guitar I've had like this, but these 'rear loaders' make the guitar feel very stable and sturdy. There are no locking nuts on the top neck nut, but this guitar stays in tune without any locking at all.
The 12th fret is marked 'AX50' in a little rectangle, the rest of the inlays are standard dots.
I would recommend this guitar to anybody, from a beginner to a pro, this axe is THE BOMB!

(More customer reviews)Dime would be proud, I loved his Washburn guitars, but always wanted a Dean like he started with... when they came out with these dime lines I kept telling myself I didn't need one, when they started selling them on Amazon, I watched them for years, finally Amazon tempted me too greatly with the $526 price tag and I jumped in and wish I had done so sooner... This thing shreds... I love playing it. I liked Dean, but hadn't owned one, they are great for their price range and even better getting them for a steal. It sounds great, plays fast, and looks good doing it. The case is great too.
Besides if you're looking at this you already know why you want it, I'm just affirming that it is the one you're looking for...

One of the knobs was laying in the bottom of the protective plastic, so after giving the other knobs a light tug to test them, two more slipped off easily. Then, there was no manual to be found. So, instead of plugging in and playing, I spent time on the internet looking for a downloadable manual and putting contact adhesive on the knobs in hopes they will stay put. I emailed both Dean and Armadillo Enterprises (the actual manufacturers of the amp) and received no response from either.

ESP LTD KH202 Kirk Hammett Electric Guitar (Black) Review

(More customer reviews)I have had my KH 202 for about four months now, and I have been very happy with it. It is a great looking instrument, and has a very balanced feel. The skull inlays are very eye-catching, and really give it that metal edge. The action was adjusted perfectly from the factory. Low and fast, easy to play. The licensed Floyd Rose trem works beautifully, and stays in tune better than my Dean hardtail. The EMG designed pickups have a good sound and tone range. I'm going to update them with a hotter passive EMG H4/H4A pair in the near future. If you are a Kirk Hammett or Metallica fan, this is your ticket for under 500 dollars. Even if you aren't, you will not be disappointed with this guitar.

(More customer reviews)This is great with 99 effects presets and at least 100 watts depending on what speaker configuration you get(Jensen Or Bugera), it is fully gig capable, you can connect external speakers/cab, it has a tuner and comes with a footswitch! It is perfect if you like playing hard rock and metal. And you can have 3 amp simulations(UK:Marshall,Californa:im assuming Fender, and the 3rd is Tweed, and and 3 mode simulations(hot,hi gain,clean)and 3 speaker simulations(US,UK,and Flat) which can be combined! I have my 1st channel preset to Chorus with a little of delay to get that Randy Rhoads tone, and my 2nd channel with Flanger and delay to get a Rhoads/EVH/Hammett sound. It is a very good amp, dont let the price fool you! I compared this to my cousins 75 watt Line 6 Spider II which is more expensive and this one blew it out of the water, my cousin even wanted to trade, of course I said no way. Mine is louder and has a better tone.Id definitely choose this over a Line 6 anyday.

(More customer reviews)This is the my fourth lifetime guitar lol. Im 20 and have been playing for about 7 years. I had a Les Paul that i paid around 1299 for and it was nothing in comparison. This is without a doubt the finest instrument that i have owned. Once i got it in tune i'd say it lasted 3 times longer than the Gibson did before i had to do it again. Its a fine instrument and its a must from the experienced player on down to those who are just becoming interested in music. 6/5 stars. Is'nt it time to get your Wings, Dean for life.

(More customer reviews)The pick-ups are very nice and deliver a lot of chunk (far from sounding muddy). The two volume knobs have allowed me to achive sounds I could never get with my single vol knob guitars. The Grover tuners are the best I've ever owned. The fret board is beautifully polished, easy to navigate, and very fast. The string-through body realy does increase sustain, and it's very easy to re-string. The paint is also very nice, and easy to keep clean. It's a rather large guitar, it took over an hour at Guitar Center to find a case to accomidate both its length & width. But I would'nt let the size turn u off, it has great balance and it's comfortable to play even while sitting (it's an absolute blast to play). Finally, I had to drill another hole in my guitar-stand a few inches higher to raise the base-cradle because the points on the "V" were so long they would hit the ground (it was easy). Now, I did write another review here at amazon on this same guitar (black model) before I saw this listing - which is the color I have. Anyway I truely hope this reiew is helpfull.

The pick ups have a strong output signal with a great Mustaine tone, and the deluxe hard case for this guitar brings a good protection for the instrument.

(More customer reviews)I used to play guitar years ago. I had never gotten truly proficient, but I knew a number of songs and wasn't bad at playing them. The problem was, I never really felt like I could play the stuff I listened to - Metallica, Megadeth, etc. Now, after about 8 or 9 years of not having a guitar (pawned off all of the guitars I had over the years, in needing to pay bills - never again!), I decided to pick up a guitar - one that would inspire me to learn some of my favorite songs ("The Thing That Should Not Be" and "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)", for example.)
While I didn't buy this guitar from Amazon (I want to be able to hold and play an instrument before buying it), I'm quite happy that I did buy it. It may be the "low end" of the Dave Mustaine signature series but, as far as I can tell, there's nothing lacking other than a few frills like upgraded inlays and custom paint jobs.
I've had my guitar for about a week now and I can't put it down. I've yet to find anything wrong with it or anything to complain about, save for the positioning of the strap buttons - one is right behind the neck, where it bolts on to the body, and the other is on the underside of the "top" leg of the V. A little difficult to get used to if you're used to strat-styles, but still pretty comfortable. I don't know if I'll ever be able to truly shred out some of the solos in some of the songs I want to learn, but I do know that I'll enjoy trying while playing this guitar. :D
